Scientifico: between Science, Art and Magics

The Liceo Scientifico in Fucecchio is twenty years old! To celebrate the oldest and most important school in town, the Istituto Checchi is planning an event entitled "SCIENTIFICO: between science, art and magics", in collaboration with the centre for performative arts ElanFrantoio. The event will take place on Saturday 21 January, from 11am to 12.30 at the school venue in Via Padre Checchi. Under Firenza Guidi's Artistic Direction the school will make its science labs and workshops come to life through a journey-event created with the participation of Liceo current students alongside Guidi's performers. Ex-students, now engineers, physics, architects, psychologists and even famous journalists, will join in the celebrations. The project intends to delight and instruct by taking open-day visitors through the multiple learning opportunities that the school offers. A journey out-of-the-ordinary unravelling through labs, corridors and classrooms in a fusion of science, art and magics. At the end of the event parents and potential students will have the opportunity to ask questions over light refreshments. All welcome!
