Why Cervantes, Calvino and Pessoa?
All these authors create imaginary cities or imaginary worlds, and within these cities and worlds live communities of people who are themselves creators: creators of laws, ways of life, values and ways of relating to others. These communities of people know how to imagine and give new meaning to their universe from nothing: through imagination, they constantly reinvent it.
