The age of ignorance – is it a happy age? And is the cloud of non-knowledge safe, or does it contain toxic cells capable of killing? What happens to the body when the brain stops thinking? Are the side effects invisible? Or do they manifest as signs of madness? Repetitive movements? A tic? A way of walking? A clumsiness and a new fluidity? Is it perhaps a life lived in a mechanical succession of events, as on an assembly line? Or a stream of silent images repeating endlessly like a screensaver? A slideshow running non-stop 24 hours a day, with music spreading through the pipes running through the walls?
