The human voice is the most imperfect instrument of all and the most beautiful. Words are just words until they are invested by the voice's deeper meaning. The human voice connects to all things in the body. There, inside the voice, it's where it all begins: whether it is just a gasp, a note, a drone or a full blown chorus; whether it is a seductive whisper or a suffocated plea, a political speech or a cry for help, the voice is always connected to the body and always does something.
The workshop / creation will culminate in 4 public, site-specific performances on 25 & 26 March.
