A performance starring Giulia Donati and directed by Firenza Guidi
PICCOLI PROBLEMI DI CUORE, conceived and directed by Firenza Guidi and starring Giulia Donati, draws inspiration from 1990s manga comics about teenage love and bullying, ultimately tearing apart everything that is false in the life of Angie, the protagonist. The performance is part of ACTOR’S STUDIO, a series of monologues designed to bring to the audience the voice, body and experience of young actors who already possess extensive performance experience, creating an event that serves as training for the performer and an exploration of new dramaturgy for everyone.
‘Every Actor’s Studio is a bit like telling your own story,’ says Guidi, “a way to dig deep within ourselves and bring to light, as well as the joy of being on stage, our unique acting identity, which often emerges through the exploration and unearthing of uncomfortable and profound truths. ‘For me, this Actor’s Studio means change: a new Giulia, a Giulia who is a woman and no longer a child, who shows herself without shame,’ says Donati.
