Crash Molly

Performance/installation directed by Firenza Guidi and performed by Marianna Rosati

On Sunday 26 May at 9.30 pm, in the industrial space of the former Factory on Viale Colombo, *Crash – Molly* will be staged – a performance that combines theatrical and circus elements to address the themes of ecology and material recycling to an audience of all ages. Crash – Molly is a new play that Firenza Guidi, writer and director, is presenting in Fucecchio for its national premiere, exploring the future of the environment by asking: what would happen if all the materials produced and not consumed were to accumulate into a mountain of matter that sooner or later engulfs us in an unstoppable vortex? In the play, the theme is viewed through the eyes of a very young girl who lives in a house made of plastic and Tetra Pak. Through her eyes and her exploits, children and adults learn to understand the world of recycling and why certain small daily actions can, in the long run, save the landscape and the environment. The lead role will be played by Fucecchio-born actress Marianna Rosati, who has been working with Guidi for almost ten years.
